In order to counter the world’s major water challenges based on UN's global goals for sustainable development about "Clean water and sanitation", we believe it is crucial that the water industry co-operates and creates strong "Partnerships for the goals" to develop efficient, innovative, and sustainable water solutions – and to secure the future of the industry. This we want to achieve by completing four strategic goals.

Our strategy is four-fold:

Smart water city
The root of AquaGlobe is to provide a framework for innovative partnerships between companies, utilities and research.

Sale & Export
AquaGlobe aims to meet Water Vision 2015’s goal of at least doubling Danish export over the next 10 years. AquaGlobe works towards building a platform to support sales and export of water technology. Our focus therefore is to build partnerships with businesses involved in developing commercial water solutions for both domestic and export markets.

Education & Recruitment
Education and recruitment of qualified talent is a major part of AquaGlobe. We work towards meeting the Water Vision 2015’s goal of a stronger educational focus and increased recruitment to educations and jobs within water technology. The target groups are adolescence in school, technical colleges, and higher science educations.

Inspiration & learning
Through inspiration and learning, AquaGlobe aims to enhance consumer awareness about the importance of water in our everyday lives, the water cycle, and how each of us can ensure that our future includes clean drinking water. The target groups for Play to Learn are citizens, day care centres, schools, associational life, and tourists.

UN's Global Goals as the focal point

AquaGlobe must also contribute significantly to the achievement of UN's Global Goals. It is an integral part of our daily work to contribute both as a supply and water solution center - especially with regard to SDG6 - Clean Water and Sanitation and SDG17 - Partnerships for the goals. In particular, we believe SDG6 is essential for the remaining global goals to be met.

To ensure clean water and sanitation for all, we all have to take action.

One in three people live without sanitation. This is causing unnecessary disease and death. Although huge strides have been made with access to clean drinking water, lack of sanitation is undermining these advances. If we provide affordable equipment and education in hygiene practices, we can stop this senseless suffering and loss of life.

To strengthen worldwide partnerships, we all have to take action.

The Global Goals can only be met if we work together. International investments and support is needed to ensure innovative technological development, fair trade and market access, especially for developing countries. To build a better world, we need to be supportive, empathetic, inventive, passionate, and above all, cooperative.
